Route 01
Mentors, expert volunteers, employers and community partners
Every young person on the programme is supported by adults who bring something the classroom cannot. Read the four roles below, then register. Many people hold more than one, so choose everything that applies.
The four roles
Choose everything that applies
Mentor
You walk alongside one young person or a small group across their pathway, helping them set goals, stay motivated and make decisions about education, training and work. You are not expected to be a technical expert. Consistency matters more than expertise.
Expert volunteer
You lead or co-deliver sessions in one of the seven learning domains, from Canva and video editing to Python, cyber security or AI. You can commit to a single workshop, a block of sessions or an employer challenge day.
Employer
You open a door into the world of work through site visits, mock interviews, work experience, live briefs or an apprenticeship route. Employer contact is the point where confidence turns into a realistic plan.
Community partner
You are a school, college, youth service, faith group, housing provider, charity or community centre. You refer young people, host the mobile hub, deliver alongside us or provide the wraparound support that keeps young people engaged.
Registration

Takes about three minutes. A member of the team will contact you within five working days to talk it through before anything is confirmed.
