A free, mobile learning hub bringing digital skills, creative tools and future-ready pathways to young people across Milton Keynes. Delivered on their estate, in their community, after school.
The programme
Digital skills, delivered where young people live
MDYH is a mobile learning hub that travels to four Milton Keynes wards each week. Twenty five laptops, DBS checked facilitators and a structured curriculum arrive on estate between three and seven in the afternoon. Young people aged twenty four and under take part at no cost.
The hub is run by Fresh Youth MK, a charity working to close the digital opportunity gap in our city. Every session is safeguarded, every learner has a Digital Passport that records their progress, and every pathway leads somewhere real.

The journey
Four pathways, one learner journey
Every young person starts at Discover and progresses at their own pace. Facilitators sign off each milestone and the Digital Passport carries the record with the learner.
Discover
Early steps into digital. Confidence, keyboard skills, online safety and the shape of what is possible.
Develop
Building core craft across the seven learning domains. Coding, design, media, data and more.
Launch
Project work, portfolios and placements. Learners build something real they can show the world.
Thrive
Mentoring, employability and progression into work, further study or enterprise.
The curriculum
Seven learning domains
Each pathway draws from the same seven domains. Learners can specialise or sample across them. Every domain has learning aims, practical outcomes and a route to the next step.
Digital Foundations
Getting online, staying safe, finding what you need.
Enterprise and Employability
CVs, portfolios, interviews and running a small venture.
Code and Build
From first lines of code to small apps and automations.

The Digital Passport
One record. Every milestone.
Every learner has a Digital Passport. It records courses completed, badges earned, evidence submitted and facilitator sign off. Parents and carers can see progress. Funders can see outcomes. Employers see something real.

Free to join. Open to under 24s.
No prior experience needed.

For volunteers, partners and funders
I want to support MDYH
Six roles cover mentoring, teaching, hosting, funding and partnership. Give an hour a week or build a longer partnership with the charity.
